Stephen Scott ’63

Stephen Scott ’63 of Southborough, Massachusetts, died November 10, 2014, in his home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in Portland, Maine, Steve’s early years were divided between Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and New Canaan, Connecticut. At Dartmouth he majored in history and was a brother of Alpha Theta. Steve worked in advertising in New York City, Boston and Providence after college, handling such accounts as Ivory bar soap and Cross pens. He settled in Southborough in the mid 1990s, becoming a marketing executive with Comprehensive Identification Products in Burlington, Massachusetts. Upon retirement Steve enjoyed his passions of gardening, skiing, playing golf and softball. He loved reading about history and politics, writing, painting and jazz. Steve is survived by daughters Alison and Lauren, brother Peter and sister Wendy.
