Robert Woodward Kerwin Jr. ’73 died on December 26, 2021, at home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bob came to Dartmouth from the John Burroughs School in St. Louis, Missouri. Bob began his career in advertising and marketing in New Zealand and Australia, representing for more than 12 years clients such as Ford, Kraft, Hewlett-Packard, and Procter & Gamble. He moved subsequently to Hong Kong and worked with advertising firm Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, representing clients such as Nissan, Adidas, and Häagen-Dazs in England, South Korea, and Japan. In 2006, with college years approaching for his children, Bob established his family’s home in Colorado Springs and worked for two years in the communications department at Colorado College. In 2008 he went to work for Young & Rubicam in its office in Tokyo, Japan, representing client companies in New Guinea, Malaysia, Iraq, and Wales. Bob greatly enjoyed traveling with his family, cooking, and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons Daniel and Ryan; and daughter Laura.
