Robert E. Corrigan ’67

Robert E. Corrigan ’67 died on July 30, 2021, in Portland, Maine. He came to the College from Shelburne, New Hampshire. He majored in English, was a brother of Alpha Delta, and served on the Undergraduate Council. After graduation Bob taught at Gorham (New Hampshire) High School until his retirement in 1999. He later taught at the White Mountain Community College in Berlin, New Hampshire. He was named by President George H. W. Bush as the 88th Point of Light and in 1989 was named one of 10 national “Heroes in Education” by Reader’s Digest. Bob is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn; son Gregory and his wife, Jen; daughters Kristen and Shelley; brother Michael; sisters Kathy and Martha; four grandchildren; and two nieces and one nephew.
