Robert Carl Lahmann ’66

Robert Carl Lahmann ’66 passed away on February 26, 2019, after a 1.5-year battle with cancer. Bob graduated valedictorian of Stevenson High School in The Dalles, Oregon, graduated from Dartmouth, and went on to earn electrical engineering and law degrees from the University of Washington. Bob then served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force for four years before practicing law in Camas, Washington, for nine years. Bob then went on to a distinguished 21-year career with the Bonneville Power Administration based in Portland, Oregon, before retiring in 2005. Bob was a fixture at his children’s sporting events through the years. Time spent with family was his top priority. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed all types of Pacific Northwest fishing and hunting. He liked working in his shop on mechanical, electrical, and woodworking projects. He was a quiet, kind, and honorable man. Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lani; mother Nellie; brothers Tom and Bill; children Jenna and Ryan; and grandchildren Jonas, Cleo, Elaina, Audrey, and Caroline.
