Robert C. Nash ’66

Robert C. Nash ’66 of Evanston and Wilmette, Illinois, passed away peacefully of Alzheimer’s on September 12, 2022. Bob graduated from Evanston Township High School, Dartmouth, and Harvard Law School. At Dartmouth Bob was a member of the Interdormitory Council, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and the swimming and diving team. He later served as regional agent and alumni interviewer for Dartmouth. Bob spent his 43-year professional career with Chapman and Cutler LLP, a finance-focused law firm, retiring as a partner in 2012. He acted as special counsel, advising people and institutions with securities and corporate finance issues. Bob took up distance running in law school and competed in many marathons, including Boston, New York and Chicago, as well as in several triathlons. He loved fine dining and traveling, often combining the two with numerous trips to Europe, Asia, and South America. He loved life and lived it to its fullest. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Roberta; children Stephanie, Scotland, and Whitney and their spouses; grandchildren Samantha, Alexis, Aidan, Oliver, and Nash; and sister Carole.
