Richard William Walker Jr. ’59

Richard William Walker Jr. ’59 died on December 12, 2009. He came to Dartmouth from Omaha, Nebraska, and Shattuck School and, according to his family, left after his freshman or sophomore year. He resided in 203 Topliff Hall his freshman year. He started his business career with Byron Reed Co., which provides real estate, insurance, property and farm management services. His father was Dartmouth class of 1928. He is survived by his wife, Beverly, children Richard III and Catherine “Kelly” and sister Jann.
