Richard H. Thornley ’65

Richard H. Thornley ’65 died October 1, 2022, in Acworth, Georgia. He came to Dartmouth from Maplewood, New Jersey; as an undergraduate he played soccer and served on the Athletic Council. Following Dartmouth Dick earned an M.B.A. from Rutgers State University in New Jersey. Richard lived virtually all his life in Maplewood. He had a 42-year career as a manager at Mulbery Metal Products in Union, New Jersey, a manufacturer of a broad line of electrical products. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters Amanda Scherer, Sarah, and Meghan; sisters Susan and Elizabeth; and nine grandchildren.
