Richard Ball Colson ’52

Richard Ball Colson ’52 passed away on November 2, 2024. He was a resident at the Linden Ponds Retirement Community in Hingham, Massachusetts. Dick was born in Missouri on April 14, 1931, and resided mainly in Massachusetts. He graduated from Wellesley High School and from Dartmouth with a major in mathematics. He was a member of Delta Upsilon. Dick later earned his M.S. in electrical engineering from Thayer School in 1959. He was an engineer, most recently with a small company that manufactured scientific instruments. Richard is survived by his wife, Janet, and five children.
