Richard Alvin Ellis ’52

Richard Alvin Ellis ’52 has passed away, according to the College; the exact date is unknown, though it is assumed to be in early 2025. Dick was a resident of Scarborough, Maine. He was born in early 1930, graduated from high school in Medford, Massachusetts and from Dartmouth in 1952, majoring in French. After college, Dick studied for the ministry, became an Episcopal priest, and was active for over 35 years, before retiring in Scarborough. In 1958 Dick and his wife, Monica, were married in London. England. She pre-deceased him, but their three children, Timothy, Kristin D ‘85 and Jeremy, survive him.
