Reed Turcic Latrowski ’15

Reed Turcic Latrowski ’15 passed away November 8, 2016, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Reed grew up in Rockville Centre, New York, and attended high school at the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan. He was passionate about music and songwriting and was a skilled guitar player and pianist. He also enjoyed acting and during his childhood acted in a national tour of Oliver. He continued to pursue this passion at Dartmouth, where he participated in several theater productions. At the College he majored in history modified with classics and earned a minor in theater. Reed was most recently working on a songwriting project with the homeless in New York City that was inspired by the talented artists he had met on the streets. He had hoped to record an album of original songs based on the stories of those he had met and use any proceeds to help the homeless community in New York City. Reed is survived by his parents, Christina and Mark, as well as his twin, Taylor.
