Peter Max Kenyon ’54

Peter Max Kenyon ’54 passed away on June 24 in Naples, Florida. He was born in Hackensack, New Jersey, and attended Ridgewood High School. At Dartmouth he was active in the Glee Club, the radio station, and Phi Gam and worked at the Hanover Inn and Lou’s diner. Peter transferred to Tuck for a two-year graduate degree, earning his A.B. and M.B.A. Peter maintained his love for Dartmouth and served on more than 20 committees and as Alumni Fund volunteer, class officer, alumni interviewer, and class agent (15 years). He chaired the class projects program and recruited three Dartmouth students every year to be part of the class of 1954 internship program. Working with the Rockefeller Center, Dartmouth Center for Social Impact, and John Sloan Dickey Center, he guided the program until it was paying for itself with class funding. His major interests were skiing and golf. Peter was predeceased by daughter Julie. He is survived by his wife, Jillian; children Peter ’81, Paige, Christopher, and Sasha; and seven grandchildren.
