Orlando Theodore Wright ’74

Orlando Theodore Wright ’74 of New Orleans died on April 6. “Skip” came to Hanover from Charleston, South Carolina, where he was active in band and orchestra and graduated from C.A. Brown High School. At Dartmouth he was a member of the Afro-American Society and continued his love of music, sharing his talents as a saxophonist in the Green Dream Band, the Barbary Coast Jazz Ensemble, and Friends, a soul-rock band. He earned his A.B. with a major in history. Most recently Skip was president and senior consultant for project and program management at Skip Wright Associates. Skip was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy. He is survived by his father, Reginald, brother Reginald Jr., sisters Rosalyn and Caroline, and daughters Jasmyne and Ashley.
