Oluf J. Sundeen ’58

Oluf J. Sundeen ’58 died on September 6, 2021. Ole grew up in North Dakota and years later settled in San Antonio, Texas. At Dartmouth he was a member of Kappa Kappa Kappa and majored in geology. Through the years Ole owned and operated a gas station, a motel, and a restaurant among other entrepreneurial adventures. He proudly served in the North Dakota National Guard, retiring with the rank of colonel. A friend said, “Ole asks to be remembered as an occasional SOB but mostly as a humorous, compassionate, and kind person.” His wife, Rosemary, survives him.
