J. Harrie Hogan ’55 died December 23, 2022, in Lakewood, Colorado. He is survived by children Barbara, Ellen, Pamela, Susan, Thomas, Carolyn, Deborah, Laurie, and Rita.

George R. Cox ’57, M.D., passed away on April 24 due to complications from lung disease. George came to Dartmouth from Suffern (New York) High School.

John S. Bell ’63 died on April 22 in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Daniel J. Matyola ’63 died on May 2 from complications of recent surgery.

John F. Richardson ’65 died on February 25 in Somerset, New Jersey, from the effects of Parkinson’s disease. He came to Dartmouth from North Plainfield, New Jersey.

William R. Bogardus ’67 died peacefully at his home in Chatham, Massachusetts, on June 9 with wife Hal and children Rachel ’98 and Justin at his side.

Steve B. Engelman ’68 died on April 30 following a seven-year battle with Lewy body dementia.

Jonathan David White ’75 of Merrick, New York, passed away on December 17, 2022.

Michael Buchanan ’80 passed away in his sleep March 22. Michael was born in Oakland, California, June 10, 1958, to Charlotte Stark Buchanan and Ralph Heath Reeves.

Donel O’Brien III ’80 passed away on November 24, 2022, after courageously battling a progressive neurological illness.
