Philip Alan Christophe ’54

Philip Alan Christophe ’54 passed away on December 20, 2018, in Chatham, Massachusetts. Phil came to Dartmouth from Needham, Massachusetts, where he attended Needham Senior High School. At Dartmouth he was a brother of Alpha Theta and a member of Interfraternity Treasurers Council and the International Relations Club. Phil graduated from Tuck School. After graduation he served two years in the U.S. Army Audit Agency auditing government contracts with industry. After discharge he returned to Needham, working in financial management for Raytheon, Simplex Wire, and Cable and Worthen Industries, the latter as vice president of finance and administration. Prior to his retirement in 1992, Phil served as president and CEO of Rochester Shoe Tree Co. He is survived by his wife, Carol, and children David, Stephen, and Karen ’86.
