Robert T. Taylor ’55

Robert T. Taylor ’55 passed away in Beaufort, North Carolina, on May 16. He is survived by his wife, Gail, and daughters Laura, Lindsey, Margaret, and Mary. Bob came to Dartmouth from Cincinnati, but finished his undergraduate studies at Miami University of Ohio. After graduation he was commissioned an ensign in the Navy Supply Corps. While still on active duty, Bob earned an M.B.A. from Harvard University. In 1974 Bob retired from the Navy as a captain and took a position as director of contracts and construction management with Burns and Rey Inc. He served as treasurer of the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra and board member of the Old Sheldon Trust.
