Donald E. Aronson ’55

Donald E. Aronson ’55 died May 8 in Saddlebrook, New Jersey. He came to Dartmouth from Newton (Massachusetts) High School. He majored in mathematics and was a member of Pi Lamda Phi, the rifle team, WDBS, and Air Force ROTC. After serving two years in the Air Force as a first lieutenant, Don earned an M.B.A. from Columbia University. He became a partner in the accounting firm of Ernst & Young in New York City and developed a national reputation in the areas of taxes and tax planning. He was trustee and treasurer of the New Jersey Society of CPAs. Don is survived by his wife, Joan; children Nancy, Laine, and Chilton; and five grandchildren.
