Robert E. Prasch ’57
Robert E. Prasch ’57 of Grand Isle, Vermont, died on March 22. Bob grew up in Philadelphia and attended Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts. At Dartmouth he majored in geology and botany. He was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon. Bob belonged to the Dartmouth Outing Club his junior and senior years. He was a member of Army ROTC all four years. He received his engineering degree from Thayer School in 1959. Bob had a long career as a consulting engineer. About 40 percent of his mid-career years were spent overseas with resident assignments in Kenya, Egypt, Portugal, Malawi, and Bangladesh. In the early 1980s he worked in Chicago as deputy project manager for the O’Hare Airport expansion program. His hobbies were rural land improvement and skiing. Bob is survived by his wife, Carolyn, and daughter Sandra. Son Robert predeceased him.
