Franz A. Pick ’51

Franz A. Pick ’51 died on December 13, 2017, in Algarve, Portugal, the College and class recently learned. Franz lived in Hartsdale, New York during his undergraduate years at Dartmouth but was born in Germany and spent most of his life there. “France,” as he preferred to be called in more recent years, was a government major at Dartmouth. He was active in the International Relations Club, the Foreign Students Club, and Germania. He was a member of Phi Kappa Psi and was an active skier. He is survived by two children and his second wife, Renate.
