Richard King Trowbridge ’54
Richard King Trowbridge ’54 passed away on February 1 in Newport, New Hampshire. Dick came to Dartmouth from Summit, New Jersey, where he attended high school. At Dartmouth he was a psychology major and a brother of Chi Phi. After graduation he served two years in the U.S. Air Force as a public information officer. After discharge, Dick moved to Connecticut, joining Southern New England Telephone as a salesman. After 38 years with the company, he retired as a district commercial manager. After retirement Dick moved to New Hampshire, where he helped his wife, Marge, raise golden retrievers and played tennis. He was a member of the Newport Indoor Tennis Club and the Lake Sunapee Yacht Club. He is survived by Marge, son Rick and daughter Page.
