Stephen Phillips Storfer ’80
Stephen Phillips Storfer ’80, M.D.,died on May 23, 2017, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was an intelligent, generous and warm-hearted partner to Mark DeMoss and beloved brother to Paul ’77, Laurie and his twin, Peter ’80. After graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina, Stephen became an infectious disease specialist who made significant contributions in HIV/AIDS research and care. He practiced in Westport, Connecticut. Originally from Scarsdale, New York, at Dartmouth Steve was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, best known for his larger-than-life smile, booming voice and upbeat radio personality at WDCR-WFRD. In the words of Peter, “He was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of many, many people. Shine brightly, dear Stephen.”
