Carl Lewis Swenson II ’55

Carl Lewis Swenson II ’55 passed away on February 4 in Nashua, New Hampshire. He lived a generous and caring life of service to others. Swenson was committed to helping people who struggled with drug and alcohol addictions. He was the executive director of the Nashua Pastoral Care Center, now known as the Front Door Agency. He inspired the founding of Keystone Hall in Nashua and was a board member for Rape & Assault Support Services. In 1992 Carl received the Book of Golden Deeds Award from the Nashua Exchange Club for his dedication to helping others. He was also an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepard in Nashua. In addition to June, Swenson is survived by daughter Jeanne and sons Carl III and Peter.
