William E. Poplack ’57

William E. Poplack ’57, M.D., passed away on December 4, 2015, in Newtonville, Massachusetts. Bill came to Dartmouth from Taunton, Massachusetts. At Dartmouth he majored in biology and was a member of the Canoe Club, Dartmouth Outing Club, Bait & Bullet and Boxing Club, where he was captain in his senior year. He graduated from Boston University Medical School in 1963. Bill was a radiologist and, early in his career, was an associate professor of radiology at Tufts-New England Medical Center for seven years. His career in the greater Boston area spanned 53 years. His favorite leisure activities were travel and golf. Bill leaves his wife, Barbara, three children and six grandchildren.
