Nelson C. Nicholson ’55

Nelson C. Nicholson ’55 died November 2, 2015, in New Haven, Connecticut. Nelson came to Dartmouth from West Haven High School. He majored in sociology and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and the Pre-Law Club. Nelson was the founder and CEO of Nicholson Associates, an insurance agency in Milford, Connecticut. He also was an internationally known magician who was a member of the American Society of Magicians, the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Magic Circle of London. Because of his fundraising contributions to the St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church in Orange, Connecticut, Nelson received the St. Paul Medal from the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of the Americas. Nelson is survived by his wife, Carole.
