Francis R. Connelly ’47

Francis R. Connelly ’47 of Malden Bridge, New York, died April 5 in Albany, New York. He grew up in Schenectady, New York, where he attended Linton High School. He enlisted in the Navy, where he served as a signalman. He qualified for and was assigned to Dartmouth in the Navy V-12 program and graduated in 1947. His profession was as a construction engineer with the New York State Office of General Services until his retirement in 1991. He cherished time spent with his family and mornings at the seashore. He is survived by a son and two daughters.
