George Myron Morris ’54

George Myron Morris ’54 passed away on October 29, 2015, in New Ellenton, South Carolina. George came to Dartmouth from Reading, Massachusetts, where he graduated from Reading High School. He served in the U.S. Navy as a flyer during the Korean War. After graduating from Tuck School in 1959, he worked on a variety of different projects in the development and consulting side of the mining and textile industries. His career took him around the world, especially the Orient. George is survived by his companion of 23 years, Beaty, and children Lyall, Evelyn, Catherine and George.
