Richard Gordon Commons ’49

Richard Gordon Commons ’49 died on September 13, 2015, 12 days after his wife, Phyllis, in Jensen Beach, Florida, where he lived. Dick came to Dartmouth from Port Washington (New York) High School and returned there to practice dentistry for 36 years after receiving his D.D.S. from Penn. In 1990 he moved to Jensen Beach, where he sailed and raced model boats. Dick is survived by three daughters and two sons.
