James R. Treadwell Jr. ’57

James R. Treadwell Jr. ’57 passed away in Salem, Massachusetts, on October 14, 2014. Jim came to Dartmouth from Proctor Academy in Andover, New Hampshire. At Dartmouth he majored in sociology and belonged to Delta Kappa Epsilon, Storrs House and the Glee Club. Jim did work for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the Philadelphia area for 25 years. Following that he worked as a consultant. He retired to Salem. Jim was an avid Dartmouth football fan, rarely missing a home game. Jim is survived by several nieces and some close friends.
