Peter Anthony Vogt ’47

Peter Anthony Vogt ’47 died on October 2, 2013, in Buffalo, New York. He grew up in Kenmore, New York, and attended Valley Forge Military Academy before he was assigned to Dartmouth in the naval V-12 program. In college he played football, joined Sphinx, Storrs House and the Dartmouth Players and majored in economics. He was president of his local Dartmouth club in 1957-58 and treasurer of his regional club in 1960. As of his 25th reunion in 1972 he was a sales manager for the Greater Buffalo Press in Lakeview, New York. He is survived by his wife and four children, including Anne ’79. Other Dartmouth relatives include grandchildren David ’05 and Christopher ’09 McCune and nephew Bradford Agry ’76.
