Paul Joseph Barnico ’49

Paul Joseph Barnico ’49 died on March 2, 2014, at his home in Beverly, Massachusetts, where he lived. Paul came to Dartmouth from Ansonia (Connecticut) High School, and received his master’s in mechanical engineering Thayer. He spent 37 years in the aircraft engine business with General Electric in Lynn, Massachusetts, where GE stood for “great engines.” In retirement he spent 26 years on the Beverly Airport Commission. Paul is survived by son Thomas ’77 and daughters Karen and Lauren.
