Everett H. Parker ’52
Everett H. Parker ’52 of Concord, Massachusetts, passed away on April 11, 2014, the beloved husband of Sally. “Ev” was born on October 13, 1930, in Hanover. His school years were spent in Bath, Maine, where he was an outstanding student and athlete. He was valedictorian of the class of 1947 at Morse High School in Bath and continued his education for a year at Phillips Exeter Academy. He graduated from Dartmouth (Phi Beta Kappa) in 1952 with a degree in international relations. He was a member of Theta Chi, Sphinx and Green Key and a letterman in varsity baseball. He then graduated from Harvard Law School in 1955. From 1955 to 1957 he served in the U.S. Army. He then joined the law firm of Bingham, Dana & Gould in Boston, where he practiced business law. He was the managing partner for several years, followed by two years in the firm’s London office. He later worked for BankBoston, managing outside legal relationships until retirement in 1998. A resident of Concord since 1959, he was active in community affairs. He was also an active Dartmouth alumnus, serving as regional club president (1991) and as a class officer in various fundraising responsibilities. Sally, his wife of 57 years, sons David ’82 and William ’84 and daughter Ellen survive him. He also leaves grandchildren Roddy, Hartley, Toby, Jamie, Natalie and Ivy and one brother and sister.
