Robert Warren Klatt Sr. ’47

Robert Warren Klatt Sr. ’47 died at his home in Anderson, South Carolina, on November 27, 2013. He grew up in the Bronx, attended Concordia Prep School and was assigned to Dartmouth in the Navy V-12 program. After naval service he went on to graduate from Columbia University. He worked for a number of companies, the last of which was American Chemet Corp. in Chicago, where he rose to become vice president. He retired to South Carolina at age 61, when he helped to start and then supported the Hospice of Upstate and the Greater Anderson Musical Arts Consortium. He was a member of the board of directors at Anderson University and was an active member of the Boulevard Baptist Church in Anderson. He is survived by his wife and a son.
