Arthur Mansfield Keleher ’54

Arthur Mansfield Keleher ’54 passed away on July 2 in Alexandria, Virginia. Art came to Dartmouth from Vermont Academy. He was a brother of Sigma Nu and a history major. After graduation Art served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1954 to 1959, retiring with the rank of captain. He then began a 43-year career at Frank Parsons Paper Co. as a salesman. He retired in 2004 as chief executive officer. Art served on the National Paper Trade Association board for five years and as its president for two years. He was also a member of the Alexandria board of architectural review for more than 20 years and was a member of the Belle Haven Country Club, the Small Point Club of Phippsburg, Maine, the Yale Club of New York City, the Old Dominion Boat Club and the Rotary Club of Alexandria. He is survived by his wife, Murney, and children Kimberly, Leslie, Sue Ann and Michael.
