From 2,200 words to 615, ’07s! Here we go! Sahiba Sarna married Keith Krieger on June 29. Darya Fuks, Ali Levine Nuger, Joanna Zimelis, Melodie Dai, Christina Luccio, Ben Reed, Steve Cesaro, Kate Coyle, Alice Mathias, Linzi Sheldon and Severina Ostrovsky were in attendance.
Thomas Carney and Lisa Warren got engaged in Otavalo, Ecuador, on July 2. Lisa is in Ecuador studying kichwa as part of her Ph.D. program at the University of Maryland.
Sam Beattie started a new job as a game designer at Storm8 in Redwood City, California. He also got engaged to girlfriend Julie Taylor.
Alexander Bruccoleri finished his Ph.D. in aeronautics and astronautics at MIT and started Izentis LLC to do research and development in aerospace and technology.
Sam Routhier recently attended the wedding of Peter Bonanno ’08, reconnected with Jesse Shaw, Ludi Chow (teaching Latin in Oakland, California) and Brett Carr and Mike Zargham (finishing their Ph.D.s).
Moira Sullivan graduated with a master’s in finance from Trinity College in Dublin and is starting as a policy advisor at the U.S. Department of Treasury office of capital markets.
On July 6 Peter Kenseth and Holly McClelland (UVM ’08) were engaged at the top of the Catwalk Trail at Killington Resort, Vermont.
Gianna Chavannes is six months into her new career as a critical care nurse at Florida Hospital in Orlando and started the B.S.N. program at UCF.
Nicholai Buhr just graduated from the M.P.H. program in epidemiology from the University of Minnesota.
Mark and Susie Chung Criscimagna are moving to San Francisco!
Amie Sugarman married Nathan Kaplan on June 15 with Ali Levin Nuger, Heather Strack, Darya Fuks, Joanna Zimelis, Mary Curtin, Martie Kutscher, Sahiba Sarna and Davida Kornreich in attendance.
Kirsten Murray congratulates José Ojeda, featured as an emerging artist by the Bronx Museum of Art, and says Shala Burroughs visited her farm in southeastern Indiana. Kirsten also caught up in Chicago with Lorraine Buhannic, Leslie Pearl, Linzi Sheldon, Christine Pfeiffer and Celeste Griffin-Churchill.
Luis-Alejandro Dinnella-Borrego graduated May 19 with a Ph.D. in American history from Rutgers, then pilgrimaged to Brazil and met Pope Francis. He also completed his first year at Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary in Boston, where he is studying to be a priest.
Christine Terada and Manida Wungjiranirun attended Ambika Singh and Shankar Sundaram’s wedding on August 10 in Leavenworth, Washington. The wedding included both Sikh and Hindu ceremonies, and the bride looked stunning in all three outfits she wore throughout the night.
This summer Ryan O’Connor set out on a six-week, 9,000-mile cross-country road trip featuring 25 states, six national parks, several national monuments, a couple of grizzly and black bears, one lone wolf and countless Dartmouth friends: Ashley (Taylor) Meyer, Margo Duke, Mike Markelz and Eric Yeager.
Last summer James Finney and his wife took off for three months around the world, visiting 32 countries and a lot of alums, including Kimberly Schreiber in Turkey. Upon return he began a premed program at Harvard and spent the summer caring for new daughter Juliette.
Shala Burroughs is going to become the executive director at a female tech accelerator this fall—Women Innovate Mobile (wim.co). “If you know any female founders who can code and want to start a business I am their gal!”
Brent Butler left Jimmy Kimmel Live in January and started at a Google-affiliated venture called Jash. In October he is getting married to Alison Maggart, a Ph.D. student in historical musicology at USC.
Katie Nunan and Arnold Engel were married in August in Kennebunkport, Maine. Class of ’07s present included Chrissy Huggins, Cole Glassner, Elisabeth McDonnell, Brent Clayton, Ahmed Deria, Grace Chung, Jessica Chervin, Caroline Barker, James Crandell and Peter Laidlaw.
