Richard Roy Grassey ’54

Richard Roy Grassey ’54 passed away on September 19, 2012. Dick came to Dartmouth from the Peddie School in New Jersey. At Dartmouth he was a brother of Zeta Psi. He was a graduate of Tuck School. Dick served as a first lieutenant in the Marine Corps and then started his own business, Grassey Equipment Co., in Glen Rock, New Jersey. He was a member of the North Jersey Country Club in Wayne, New Jersey, and the Tuxedo Club in Tuxedo Park, New York. Dick was a founding member of the Dartmouth Club of Northern New Jersey and an active member of the Allendale, New Jersey, Athletic Association. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, and children Richard Jr., Douglas and Brenda.
