John Henry Randall ’45

John Henry Randall ’45, M.D., passed away April 17 at his residence in Wakefield, New Hampshire. John was born in Toot Hill, New York, and came to Dartmouth from Staten Island Academy and Wagner College. During WW II he served in the 13th Armored Black Cat Division in Europe and was awarded a Bronze Star. He earned his medical degree from New York University and practiced pediatrics in Great Kills, New York, for 12 years. He then served his third year of psychiatric residency at Staten Island Mental Health Society in 1970 and was on the medical staff of several state-sponsored mental health centers from 1971 until his retirement in 1994. He then moved to Wakefield. He was a member of the Richmond County Medical Society, New York State Medical Society, New Hampshire Medical Society, New Hampshire Psychiatric Society, American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association. In his leisure time he enjoyed sailing and was a member of the adventure club. He is survived by his brother Richard.
