Alfred Kenneth Wright ’73


Alfred Kenneth Wright ’73 died on March 15, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida, of complications related to lung cancer. Al came to Dartmouth from Bonds-Wilson High School in North Charleston, South Carolina. At the College he majored in psychology and was a member of the fencing club. Al was co-director of the Dartmouth Student Forum and served on the College committee on standing and conduct. He was a member of Casque & Gauntlet. After Dartmouth Al began a long career working for IBM. His hobbies included golf and flying. At the time of his death Al had been aware of his diagnosis for only a few days. He is survived by nine brothers and sisters.
