Alden T. “Ted” Hinson ’41

Alden T. “Ted” Hinson ’41, formerly of Sharon, Connecticut, died May 4, 2011, in Sarasota, Florida. Ted was captain in the Army Air Corps in the European theater during World War II, and during the occupation served as a civil affairs officer with the Allied military governments for Italy and Austria. Ted was in international business with Monsato and Occidental Petroleum Cos. and later in New York City was vice president of Pittra Inc., an Argentine trading firm. He is survived by his wife, Peg, and children Alexander and Andrea.
