Donald Park Mix ’55

Donald Park Mix ’55 died at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, on January 24, 2011. Don came to Dartmouth from Worcester Academy in Massachusetts. A member of Delta Tau Delta, he was also a member of the Marching Band, DOC and Dartmouth College Union and graduated with a degree in economics as well as a subsequent M.B.A. from Tuck in 1957. Following service in the U.S. Navy he eventually turned to banking, chiefly as a trust and investment manager. Don retired, after 28 years, as a senior vice president of the Bank of America. He served the Boy Scouts of America as treasurer and also worked with regional YMCA camps for children. Don is survived by his wife and three children as well as a sibling.
