David Ronald Ehrlich ’47
David Ronald Ehrlich ’47 of Camarillo, California, died on March 13. He grew up in Chicago, attended Calumet High School and joined the class in the Naval V-12 unit. In college he participated in track and field and majored in engineering. After graduating from Thayer School he served in the Army in Korea. Following his discharge he worked for Federal Sign and Signal Corp. in Los Angeles until 1972, rising to become chief engineer. From then until 1987 he worked for the Rocketdyne division of Rockwell International. He then became a consultant as head of Ehrlich Enterprises until his retirement in 2010. His hobbies were membership in a professional engineering society, stamp collecting, golf and the stock market. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
