John Lenhart Welborn ’56

John Lenhart Welborn ’56 died at home after a long illness on April 27. He had lived at Wilton Manors, Florida, for a number of years and had practiced law in the nearby Ft. Lauderdale area. Jack was born in Oak Park, Illinois, and graduated from Penn Charter before coming to Dartmouth, where he was a member of Kappa Kappa Kappa and worked for the Jack-O-Lantern. He remained faithful to Penn Charter’s annual fund and maintained ties with a number of his classmates from those years. He is survived by his wife, Lissa, children John, Debra and Catherine and five grandchildren.
