Tyler Harold Bunce ’43


Tyler Harold Bunce ’43 died February 11 in Jamestown, New York. After graduation from Jamestown High School, where he was on the football team, Tyler entered Dartmouth and shortly thereafter joined the U.S Army Air Force, serving as a staff sergeant. Most of his working career was spent with Martin Rockwell Corp. He was a member of the local St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and Lakewood Memorial Post 1286 American Legion, where he held the office of sergeant-at-arms. Tyler is survived by his wife, DeLoris, whom he married in 1946; seven children; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
