Rex Maharg Martin ’55

Rex Maharg Martin ’55 died on July 5, 2010. He lived in Colorado and graduated from Grand Junction (Colorado) High School. At Dartmouth Rex majored in government and was a member of the Prelaw Club. He played freshman football but turned to wrestling the remainder of his academic years. A member of the Interfraternity Council, Forensic Union and President of the Phi Kappa Psi, Rex was an active participant in undergraduate life. After two years in the Army he entered the University of Colorado and received a master of science degree. Rex started in accounting in Denver and rose to corporate controller with the firm of Van Schaack and Co. He is survived by two daughters.
