William Seth Green ’63

William Seth Green ’63, a resident of New York City, died on May 29. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Bill majored in English and moved to New York after graduation where he received a fellowship from Columbia University. An accomplished pianist, who was once invited to tour with Blood, Sweat and Tears, Bill rejoiced in the sound, the study and the playing of cutting-edge jazz. He loved his position as a scientific writer and editor at New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases. He also loved New York, the Mets, the latest computer technology and humor, especially puns. Bill shared his love of music and humor with everyone around him. Most of all he loved his family. Bill is survived by his children Betse and Nicole, sons-in-law Bill and Sorin, and grandchildren Jason, Justin, Jan and Grace. Donations may be made to the CaringBridge (caringbridge.com) or The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org).
