Anthony J. Bruscino ’56

Anthony J. Bruscino ’56, known affectionately to all of us as Tony, died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack on July 23 in the Omaha, Nebraska, area, where he had only recently moved to be close to his daughter Tracy. He is survived by her and sons Mark and Alex, grandson Zach and sisters Estelle, Christina and Annette. Ted Bremble ’56 talked with Tony only 10 days before his death and found him very happy with his new digs and with plans to teach a course in Italian cooking in the fall at a local community college. Never wanting to miss the annual Sarasota, Florida, Baci Party, for which he had become famous, plans had already been made for a return to Florida this coming March. He was “a gourmet who had a taste for the varied qualities of life itself.” Thanks to ’56s Bill Miles, Gordi Lenci and Denny Minely, who shared their memories and affection for Tony.
