Perry Cotton Weston ’54

Perry Cotton Weston ’54 passed away on July 20 in Woodland Hills, California. Perry entered Dartmouth from Longmeadow, Massachusetts, having attended Vermont Academy. At Dartmouth he was a member of the Glee Club, a diver on the swimming team and a brother of Phi Delta Theta. After graduation Perry served in the U.S. Army in New Jersey and Hawaii and then went to work for Marsh and McLennon, the world’s leading risk and insurance services firm. He specialized in the design, administration, communication and financial arrangements of employee benefit programs for large domestic and multinational corporations. Perry was active in the Woodland Hills Church of Christ, serving as a deacon. He served Dartmouth as secretary of the Dartmouth Club of Southern California and as an alumni interviewer. Perry’s father was Dartmouth class of 1925 and his brother George Jr. is class of ’53. Additionally, Perry’s grandfather and two great uncles were Dartmouth alums. Perry is survived by his wife, Polly, and children Stephen, Dudley and Jody.
