Malcolm Brochin ’52

Malcolm Brochin ’52, M.D. died unexpectedly on November 6, 2009, in Woodbridge, Connecticut. He graduated from the Hopkins School and came to Dartmouth from his native city of New Haven, Connecticut. He received a chemistry-zoology degree in 1952 and then received his medical degree from Harvard University in 1956. At Dartmouth Mal was a member of Pi Lamda Phi. He had a distinguished medical career in private practice in obstetrics-gynecology and as a professor at the Yale Medical School. He set high standards for himself and those with whom he associated. Mal was outspoken and a man of faith. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, children Lisa and Peter, son-in-law Dr. Joseph Camilleri Jr. and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter Martha and brother Merwin.
