Warren K. Ornstein ’49 died of cancer on December 25, 2009, in Cleveland, Ohio. “Ornie” came to Dartmouth from Culver Military Academy and made his mark as a 145-pound guard on the 1945 football team. He received his law degree at the University of Michigan and was associate counsel of Forest City Enterprises. He was an avid golfer and skier. As Ornie wrote, “at age 50 I finally found the right lady”—Marlyn, who survives him.
