Richard H. Wallace ’49


Richard H. Wallace ’49 died on January 25, 2009, in Lafayette, Indiana, where his daughter Gwendolyn lives. Dick came to Dartmouth after WW II service in the Army, and worked as a store planner with Filene’s Department Store in Boston. He was a longtime resident of Brookline, Massachusetts. Dick was active in the Dartmouth Outing Club, and his later hobbies included skiing, camping and canoeing. His wife, Barbara, died in 200l, and he is survived by his daughter Gwen, two grandchildren and a brother.
