Milton Herbert Kurtz ’48
Milton Herbert Kurtz ’48 died in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, on August 6, 2009. He came to Dartmouth and the V-12 program from Brooklyn (New York) Technical High School and returned from naval service in the Caribbean and Pacific theaters for his degree in economics. Milt was a member of Theta Chi. After graduation he joined the family business of clothing manufacture and retired after he sold the business in 1989. He was active in alumni and class affairs, served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and commanded a powerboat squadron. He is survived by Diane, his wife of 57 years, and children Roger, Dana ’82 and Glenn.
